We connect startups with capital, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
EarlyInvest is an initiative of the North American Fintech Coalition to connect early-stage startups with the right angel investors, advisors, sponsors, and strategic partners that can help accelerate growth and long-term success.
Our mission is to create meaningful opportunities for founders across industries to gain visibility, build relationships, and access the resources needed to scale their businesses. Through EarlyInvest, investors and ecosystem partners gain direct access to innovative emerging companies, new ideas, and future market opportunities.

Help us build a stronger angel investor / startup ecosystem across North America.
We connect angel investors with the right early-stage startups, advisors, and ecosystem partners to improve access to capital, knowledge, and meaningful growth opportunities.
We take a hands-on approach to strengthening the early-stage ecosystem by hosting virtual and in-person events, producing educational content, and facilitating introductions between founders, investors, and startup support organizations across the United States and Canada. This work helps startups gain visibility and investor access, while also helping angel investors discover and evaluate high-potential early-stage opportunities.
There are several ways to volunteer:
Attend our events. We'll have both streaming and live events, both focused on content and purely social. Attend some of them to see which ones are the most useful for what you're looking for.
Collaborate with members of our community. Whether at our events or on your own, we encourage you to collaborate with members of our community in whatever ways are most useful for you.
Mentor members of our community. If you have expertise in a topic of interest to investors, founders, accelerator leaders, or other members of the startup community, please share it! We'd love to hear from you.
Introduce people. Do you know someone who might benefit from or be useful to our community? Please introduce them to us!
Join one of our committees. Sharing your perspective with our leadership helps us better accomplish our mission and goals.
If you'd like to get involved in any of these or other ways, please contact us at info@earlyinvest.org. We’d love to hear from you!
Are you a service provider for investible, funded, or soon-to-be-funded startups? These are startups that are poised to spend lots of money on rapid growth! We have over 100 of them and can give you access to those in our network that fit your specific criteria (eg, segmented by geography, stage, industry, type of founder, or some other variable), along with specialized research on them and their needs. Here are some examples of activities you can do:
Get research on them from us, to determine your best targets.
Meet with them at special events.
Lead a seminar about a specialized topic (which can be recorded and viewable on our upcoming YouTube channel).
Market yourself in our digital marketing to get even wider exposure.
Please email us at info@earlyinvest.org for more info.
We're in a fiscal sponsorship with a 501(c)(3) organization and can accept tax-free donations! There are many reasons to donate to us:
More funding for local startups: This is the point of our main mission of inspiring and informing new angel investors.
Startup access to capital: In addition to more funding, we also make it much easier for startups to find that funding by matching angel investors to startups and angel groups that fit the preferences / interests of those angels.
Founder visibility: We increase awareness of our startup founders within a curated network of investors, advisors, and ecosystem partners focused on early-stage growth.
High-quality investor access: Angel investors gain curated access to promising early-stage startups across industries, geographies, and types of founder, as well as to a variety of angel groups and other resources.
Meaningful connections: We build relationships between founders, investors, and other community members to support long-term growth, mentorship, and strategic alignment.
Market validation: Startup founders benefit from real-time feedback from experienced investors and operators who help refine positioning, product direction, and go-to-market strategy.
Efficient deal flow: Investors access a streamlined pipeline of early-stage opportunities without the noise of broader, undifferentiated marketplaces.
Growth acceleration: Early-stage startups gain opportunities for funding, partnerships, and strategic introductions that can accelerate their path to scale.
Community-driven network: We create a curated ecosystem where startups and angel investors engage directly through events, programs, and targeted introductions designed to foster real outcomes.
Since access to capital is typically the biggest barrier to entry for startups to succeed, our focus on increasing funding for startups positions us well for substantial measurable impact such as
How many startups are getting funding through us?
How many of them have underrepresented founders (women, Blacks, Latinos, veterans, LGBTQ+, etc) who historically have had far more difficulty getting funding than others?
How are the funded startups broken down by industry and geography?
Which angel investor groups are strengthened by our programs? (by various measures)
How many new angel investors are created by our programs? Where are they located?
